Geestelijk is dat een heftig strijdperk. Want vrijheid en vrijwilligheid is er sowieso voor wie ziet dat de geest in de natuur vrij bewegen kan. Maar de heftige maar verborgen strijd is daar, of die geest zich richt op het zijn en genieten van het eigen moment en plaats, of dat die geest zich richt op het zijn en verhogen van het grotere geheel, waarvoor termen bestaan als zuiver, eeuwig, waarachtig, recht, algemeen belang.

Bij de overgang van lichaam naar puntmassa gaat men van 3 naar 0 dimensies. Voor, achter, links, rechts, onder en boven vallen samen, er kan derhalve geen oriëntatie aan de puntmassa meer geassocieerd worden. Wel behoudt een tot puntmassa gereduceerd lichaam zijn positie in de driedimensionale meetkundige ruimte. Op puntmassa's kunnen translaties eenvoudig uitgevoerd worden.
