Ben geen expert in yoga, maar van wat ik van de kundalini-energie heb begrepen is dat deze van onderaf (seksuele organen gebeid) wordt opgewekt en via de ruggengraad wordt opgewerkt naar het gebied van het hoofd om daar a.h.w. tot ‘explosie’ te komen. Dat dit goed fout kan gaan beschrijft Gopi Krishna in zijn boek Koendalini. Hij heeft dit aan den lijve ondervonden. Ook Steiner heeft gezegd dat het opwekken van energie in de door mij beschreven oefeningen een foute uitwerking kan hebben tenzij (!) men moeite doen om op moreel gebied sprongen vooruit te maken.

Beetje als wat sommigen kundalini-energie noemen? Naar wat ik lees zou dat langs de ruggengraat gaan, niet zo alledaags denk ik.

Als je je aandacht gedurende langere tijd bij dat, wat in de imaginatie-fase centraal staat (het beeld of later de beeld-opbouwende-kracht), weet te houden, dan zul je op den duur merken dat het aan de voorzijde van het hoofd pijn gaat doen. Je bouwt – bij gebrek aan een beter woord – ‘geconcentreerde aandachtsenergie’ op en dat veroorzaakt een druk bij/rondom de neuswortel. Dáárna, als de energie gaat toenemen en zich verder uit gaat breiden – naar voor, achter, langs de zijden (veel moeilijker waar te nemen) –, komt er zo gezegd leven in de brouwerij. Laat ons toe te zeggen dat niet alles opgelost kan worden met een weesgegroetje. En om alle, maatschappelijk gevalideerd of niet, wetenschappelijke studies gelezen te hebben, hebben we reïncarnatie nodig. Iets anders weet ik niet, sommige wetenschappers wachten op anderen, maar dat is geopolitiek dan weer.
