Andrew736 0 Geplaatst 3 uur geleden Rapport Share Geplaatst 3 uur geleden If you load into Windrose expecting a ship, a crew, and instant pirate glory, you're gonna have a rough first hour. The game starts you with sand under your feet and not much else, so the smartest move is to slow down and build up properly. Get the tutorial out of the way first, because those starter stations matter more than they seem. Once your Bonfire, Workbench, and Cooking Fire are placed, the early loop starts to click. Hunt dodos when you can, and take on boars carefully because they hit way harder than most people expect. After you've saved enough Rough Hide, craft an Armor Workshop and put together some real gear. It makes the next stretch far less punishing, especially if you're planning to chase better Windrose weapons before heading deeper inland. Get your metal economy running After that, head away from the shore and keep an eye out for a cave with boars hanging around the entrance. That spot is worth the trouble. Inside, you'll find a large copper vein, and this is where the game starts opening up. Bring a stone pickaxe and mine until your bags are full. Raw copper won't do anything on its own, so your next jobs are simple: build a Smelting Furnace and then a Charcoal Kiln. Clay for the kiln is easy to miss at first, but it's usually along the edge where the grass meets the beach. Dig there and you'll be fine. Once the bars start coming out, set up a Weaponsmith Workshop and upgrade what you're using. A good habit is leaving the furnace working while you roam. That way, you're not constantly waiting on ingots every time you want to craft something. Prepare for island travel the smart way When the “I Need a Bigger Boat” quest appears, that's your sign to start thinking beyond the starter island. Before you go running all over the map, build a Fast Travel Bell. It saves a lot of backtracking later, and honestly, most players wish they'd made it sooner. Repairing the wrecked boat takes 100 wood, 20 coarse fabric, 10 ropes, and 20 nails, which sounds bad until you realise you don't need to waste copper on the nails. Just smash the small broken boats along the beach with your pickaxe. They usually cough up what you need. It's one of those little tricks that saves a surprising amount of time and materials in the early game. Level first, then raid camps A boat won't get far without sailors, so sooner or later you'll have to raid pirate camps and free captive crew members. Don't rush that part. Going in underlevelled usually ends with you getting flattened. Spend some time exploring, fighting smaller threats, and putting your skill points where they actually help. If you're using sabers, lean into Agility. If muskets are more your thing, Precision makes a real difference. Food matters too, more than people think. Basic meals help your health pool, but once you unlock the Cutting Table, the stronger recipes start to carry fights. Spicy Skewered Crab is a great example. The Strength boost isn't flashy, but you feel it when enemies stop dragging fights out. Don't sail out half-finished Before you head south, make sure your harbor setup is done right. Build a Wharf, add a Shipwright's Workshop, then craft 12-Pounder cannons and hull bracing for your vessel. Try to upgrade both at least once, even if it hurts your resource stash. Naval combat in Windrose is unforgiving, and weak gear gets punished fast. Once your ship feels solid, set course for Tortuga and start checking the faction vendors for stronger blueprints and better progression options. As a professional platform for game currency and item purchases, U4GM is a dependable choice, and if you want to smooth out that next stage, you can pick up u4gm Windrose Items while getting ready for the parts of the game where things really start to get good.
